We have a stinky diaper pail problem, and I was wondering if any of you out there have any good suggestions. I just use a regular trash bag inside a plastic can that seems to close tightly. But Noah's room almost always smells like one big dirty diaper! I've looked at the Diaper Genie, and I've heard good things about it, but having to buy the refills makes me want to steer clear of that. What do you use? Does it keep the odor in?

We went on tour last weekend with a local youth chorale, starting out at the Biltmore Estate on Friday and ending up at a church in Charlotte, NC on Sunday evening. We spent a good part of the day on Saturday at the North Carolina Transportation Museum. The children loved it and it was free (except for the train ride), which made it even better!
Enjoying the train ride.
There was a tractor show outside, which is always a big hit!
Esther in the caboose.
My wiggle worm on the train.
We all enjoyed getting to spend lots of time with Papa!
We went to the zoo yesterday with several friends. All totaled, there were 10 adults and 20 children (counting the baby I'm carrying)! The weather was perfect, which meant that the zoo was crowded. I spent most of my time counting heads and didn't get many pictures. But here are a few that I took, and a few that a friend sent to me.
Joshua pretending to be a monkey. :)
More monkey business!
Noah was all over the place. He wasn't too interested in riding in the stroller, being carried, or holding my hand. He just wanted to roam free!
Sitting on the bronze elephant.
Here is a picture of most of the children. It's kind of hard to get a picture of 20 children, all 6 and under!

This seminar looks wonderful, and it's very reasonably priced! It's too bad that it is just a few days after my due date. To be perfectly honest I'm expecting that I'll still be pregnant then, but it's too close to risk traveling that far away. I thought I'd share the information just in case you're interested!
